Our Kansas City Veterinarians Care
Kansas City North veterinarian, Dr. Billie Deam, became the owner of the Animal Clinic of Boardwalk Square in 1994. Since that time, our veterinary hospital has grown to include many different animal care services Whether providing a routine health examination and vaccinations or a life-saving emergency procedure, the staff at our animal clinic knows that a kind touch and a wealth of veterinary knowledge - both traditional and holistic - go a long way. We have a veterinarian on staff 5-1/2 days a week to see your pet. Please call ahead
of coming into our clinic so we can
prepare our staff accordingly.
At Animal Clinic of Boardwalk Square, we offer
full medical and surgical services. We have up to date in-house laboratory and radiology capability and can perform many important diagnostic tests while you are here with your pet. We are experienced in all aspects of soft-tissue surgery including spaying and neutering pets but also more complicated surgeries. We use a surgical laser for many procedures. Surgical laser technology reduces bleeding and inflammation and decreases healing time to get your pet back on
their feet and playing in less time than traditional surgical methods. We also offer the services of Dr. Charles Sackett who performs cosmetic surgery for pets, including ear crop procedures, facial fold correction and eyelid surgery.
We are pleased to offer therapeutic (cold) laser treatments for pets with injuries, arthritis or other chronic problems. Laser therapy is cutting edge technology in veterinary medicine (and human sports medicine). Dr. Deam is a certified animal chiropractor and offers chiropractic care for dogs and cats. Just as chiropractic care is beneficial to humans, it is also helpful in treating pets that have back pain and joint pain.
Dr. Linda Faris provides holistic animal care at our location including acupuncture services and herbal medicine. We encourage people to contact Dr. Faris at www.westonvet.com to find more information on what she is able to treat with pet acupuncture and how it works.
In addition to our medical services, we offer on-site professional pet grooming and veterinary supervised pet boarding. We stock a full line of therapeutic veterinary diets as well as grain-free, preservative-free Acana, Orijen and Urban Wolf pet diets.
Please feel free to take a look around our website
for more information on all the services that we provide. It is our goal
that our clients feel comfortable on their first visit, thus we suggest
reviewing our New Patient Center
for further details. We also offer a complimentary website membership,
which gives pets owners important tips on helping their pets lead the
healthiest and happiest lives possible.
